Coconut / Nariyal Chutney

Nariyal/Coconut Chutney
1 Cup fresh shredded coconut
2 Green Chilly
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves
1 tsp Roasted Gram (Chana Dal)
Salt to taste

For Tempering:
1 tbsp Oil 
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
6-7 curry leaves
Asafoetida powder pinch

In Mixer grinder jar, grind together, shredded coconut, green chilly, ginger paste, fresh coriander leaves and  roasted gram for a minute. Once done add salt to taste and temper it.
For tempering, Heat oil in small fry pan, add mustard seeds, as soon as it splutters add curry leaves and asafoetida powder pinch. Pour this temring on chutney. 
Mix chutney well.
Serve This Chutney with Soft Idlis or dosa, uttapam and Udupi style Sambhar recipe accompanying it.
